Illegal Immgrants pay taxes too?

I never had any problems with an illegal immigrant or legal.And I've never asked them questions but I came upon this website today. That illegal(not all but most of them)immgrants also pay taxes. And contribute to their communities.

yes they do pay taxes not just sale taxes but regular taxes too!

According to the below mentioned article... undocumented workers (political speak for illegal alien) contribute only 1/3 of the total burden in sales tax and other assorted fees.

That means you and I have to make up the remaining 2/3's.

Many illegals work under the table, but then again so do many Americans. Illegals who do not have an SSN can get a TIN from the IRS, which will enable the employer to send tax money directly to the IRS. So there is a legit way for illegals to pay income tax without having an SSN.

Illegal immigrants pay such taxes as sales taxes, gasoline taxes, etc. They are often paid their working wages in cash, so they generally don't pay any income tax, either state or federal (it's not like they have a social security number for a W-2 form, after all). I personally think that's one of the biggest reasons for a guest-worker program, so that they WOULD be paying taxes, and would be paying their own way, just like the rest of us.

I used to pay my helpers $25.00 per hr in the envelope plus paid sick days and personal days and 2 weeks vacation and the plumbing mechanics were paid up to $45 per hr.

This was prior to the newly elected democratic officials got into power

Now with the influx of new people I can get a helper for $8.00 per hr and a semi skilled mechanic for less then $20.

The "New Congress" helps lower the bar thus helps keep the pay scale a lot lower and business has no incentive to get bigger as higher taxes prevent growth.

Look at Nancy's Pelosi's statements and how the stock market is reacting (She said American's make to much money" so I did my share and cut costs)

.Having two crews working less then 20 hours each means they are part time thus no benefits. I was able to get rid of all the much higher paid employees in favor of immigrants with work visa's ( I had to in order to stay competitive)

Once the Democrats get in I expect to pay a lot less then I am paying now as they will open the flood gates and force big companies to have massive lay offs and out source help over seas and hire part timers rather then full time employees.

Yes they pay taxes BUT much less then I used to collect from employees as now I have twice the number of employees for half of what I was paying.

Not by choice I just had to stay competitive.

Remember how upset the democrats were with Regan now they can really bankrupt America with entitlements and free medical to invaders and big government sponging off the working class.

Already HELLery Clinton is taking about rasing taxes also and is against making English the offical language

It is possible illegal aliens are paying some taxes. In many states they have a sales tax. It is likely they pay that since it is hard to get around. If they are using a stolen identity to get work someplace that does not hire illegals, it is likely the employer is with holding payroll taxes.

This doesn't change anything, they are still here illegally.

DAr is right that the poor don't pay enought to sustain government services, even if every illegal immigrants pay, they are costing the middle class alot of money. As for NYC masterplumber's comment, someone who makes $25 and hour would pay around $20,000 in taxes. Someone who makes $8 an hour would pay $4,000. It cost around $10,000 to send one kid to School. (DAR provided that data and I verified it with an external source.) DO the math.

Illegals who work "under the table" do not have taxes taken out of there checks. (not paying taxes). Illegals who get food stamps are not paying taxes on that food. (some states do put tax on food). Illegals who get free health care in E.R.s and health departments are not paying taxes on those services. Etc, etc, etc,
This is not contributing to the system

That's complete bull. The only time illegals pay tax is sales tax when they buy something. They are paid under the table which means they don't pay income tax (state or federal) nor do they contribute to social security or unemployment. Arguments otherwise are made by those in favor of no border, such as those who want to come here and companies that want to employ them to save some money.

What they take out of the system doesn't come anywhere close to the few pennies they might accidently put back into the system.

I should also point out that those illegals who are not paid under the table are using somebody elses SSN which is identity theft, fraud, and a really messed up thing to do to someone. How would you like to be audited because somebody gave their employer your SSN?

Excuse me for being rude ok... but how can they pay taxes on their salaries when they dont have a social security card.. they are getting paid "under the table" and they are getting money handed to them so how are they paying taxes when they dont.. we are paying theirs and thats not fair at all because im trying to support myself and not them

illegas do not pay taxes becasue if they do the government would find out becasue they have to register there green card and if it doesnt show up then the person that employs them will be fired and the illegal immirgrant will be sent back to there country....... otherwise there paid "under the tabel" and so they dont pay taxes
