Don't forget that silly thing about homosexuality being an abomination. It's in the same book as the shellfish and pork rules.

The second part of your question is rather STUPID.

There were 4 parts to the OT law, MORON.

1) Ritual
2) Civil
3) Separateness
4) Moral

The first 3 don't apply to Christians. If you can't figure out why on your own, your even dumber than I suspect.

The old testament mentions all those laws. In the new testament Paul is out coverting Christians and asks God if they should follow all the laws that the Jews do. God gives him a vision of what the gentiles can and can not eat.

In the New Testament God instructed us to not call anything He has made unclean. Therefore, he voided His rule in the Old Testament. Those who still following this rule is living by the old law which leads to death.

New testament revelation

We are now to worship on the Lords day the 8th day Sunday.

And we eat what God has prepared for us just like we can preach to the "un-circumcised" now.

It IS part of the bible

Ha - they were recruiting Christians from non-Jewish cultures. It they had kept the old restrictions they would not have gotten Greek or Roman converts. Expediency is what it was all about. Same as today, tune the beliefs to the culture. Thou shalt not kill, unless it is to get more oil.

Jesus told the Jews that they made Gods laws invalid by their customs and traditions.
Jews started implementing their own ideas into their God given laws.

Jesus said he was the end of the law covenant. because now the christian congragation would be set up from then on.

Jews got a little ticked at that comment

They are part of the Old Testament which was "fulfilled" when Christ died. We live under the New Testament laws today.

The Bible has no prohibition for food. Anything that is fit for consumption can be consumed. The Jewish customs were different, though.
