Algore is from big oil. His family fortunes come from Occidental Petroleum and tobacco. He's pushing this "global warming" hoax to boost his own personal profits. Look at what the price of gas is since his movie came out!

No problem with Al for me. I did not watch An Inconvenient Truth, nor have I seen the Great Global Warming Swindle. I have no need nor a desire to be proselytized by either movie.

I even think Al is not getting due credit for being instrumental in passing the legislation that brought the internet to the wider public.

As for URL's, I don't use those either. When I want info I head for the journals. There are a multitude of journal articles that are presenting more information than what we see in the news. My reading tells me that there is a lot more to Global Warming than CO2.

Al Gore was, is, and will continue to be a non-player in my search for information regarding global warming.

CO2SCIENCE.COM is a good one.

I am not a nay sayer. I am an engineer and scientist. I just have questions regarding the data collection and assumptions like many others. I believe in Global Warming. I even believe man is probably contributing to it. I just want all questions resolved as to the data collection and conclusions reached. I don't think they have been yet.

The personal attacks on Al Gore are shameful. He has led a life of public service, and has made many positive contributions to the United States, with few negatives. While Vice President he was primarily concerned with improving the effectiveness and cost-efficiency of government. He conceded the 2000 election for the good of the country, even though a case could have been made that the election was stolen in Florida. He is largely correct about the seriousness of the global warming threat. He may have exaggerated the near-term dangers, but history will likely vindicate him in the long term.

I have no problems with Al Gore. He's a politician and a business man who also cares for the environment. He's sincere about his interest in the environment, by the way.

He's simply connected his three interests into one (he will make a lot of money from his Carbon businesses.) He's stuck his neck out for Global Warming. If the whole thing turns out to be a fraud, I don't think we should go after the spokesperson. He's just a gun for hire.

We should go after the most prominent scientists in the IPCC report. They are the ones who will have to answer and they are the ones that should be held accountable.

Politics is about the pursuit of power. Business is about the pursuit of money and commerce. Science is about the pursuit of truth. So it is the scientist who is not doing his job.

People who cannot accept reality prefer to shoot the messenger
in this case Al Gore
and keep quoting his alleged shortcomings ,as if this has anything to do with Global warming .
At least the guy is being hugely positive about assisting the Environment, his motives or his lifestyle are hardly relevant.

if you meet any of these skeptics tell them to check this link it explains everything in great scientific detail,http://members.shaw.ca/spudnewt/sierranaked.jpg/
Understand that this is not meant for you
,its for the naysayers
and
lol.

The man lives in a house the size of walmart. he a privet citizen has a personal jet that uses more fuel in a hour of flight, than a average car will use in a year. He blames global warming on the power plants, but he uses more power in a year than most homes do in 5. What part of this do you not understand?

You won't find any. Al Gore has become a convenient target for people who don't believe in global warming. Because they can't dispute the science, they attack the messenger. Personally, I don't care what people think of Al Gore. I don't care if you don't like his weight, his haircut, the car he drives or what he has to say. The great majority of the world's scientists are convinced that global warming is a real, urgent problem. Let's not get distracted by what people think of Al Gore or Leo Dicaprio.

I have noticed that people who 'object' to Al Gore don't always object to what he's saying.
That said, I can't provide any links, sorry; I have nothing against the man so I haven't looked for positive or negative information!

EDIT:
Ouch! Those thumbs-down really hurt!

I looked them up on the computer, and URL's are a way to collect information! It is a tool like any other!
As for global warming, you are preaching to the choir! But, for the life of me, I can not understand the thinking behind denying it! It has got to be a Republican thing!
If King George says it is raining, they all grab an umbrella! If they got their heads out of his butt...... it wouldn't change a blessed thing!
STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES!
