Does anyone know what size curling iron Vanessa Anne Hudgens uses for her new loose wavy/curly hair do?

I just bought one that is 1 1/2. Is that good or 1 inch? I really would like it to be soft waves/kind of curly. Also, do you know what products I should use to make mu curls/waves look more sleek and shiny?
