Truthfully, Just tell them you don't like them or you not looking for a relationship right now.
It that person understands then he won't bother you anymore in that way.

the best and simplest answer is to tell them the truth......but dont be rude....you sound like youre considerate enough to give this situation some thought....simply say......yeah sure id love to go out with you....thats a good thing for two friends to do.....or something along those lines...thats just an example....simply hint the fact that you dont feel the same.....ive had to do this b4...and youll be nervous and afraid to tell them....but theyll see that youre respectin them

I just tell them ....
"you're a really nice person, and I'd love to hang out with you sometime as my friend, but I'm not interested in dating you. I just don't see you as a bf.. more like my friend. "

or if you're one of those shy people, just say.. "i'm not interested in dating anyone at the moment. But I'm very flattered"

Just say it. "I don't want to go out with you." Some people won't stop pursuing you if there's even a hint of a chance that you're considering them. For those people, you HAVE to be direct.

First try gently. You know, the whole "I like you, but only as a friend." speech.
If they still don't get it, then just state bluntly that you don't want to go out with them.
After that if you still have trouble it's time to be rude and extremely blunt.

break down what .. i usually get in a fight with a guy so i dont have to let him he sucks but the almost perfect ones i hated i just told them get out . its over if they dont leave call the cops. thats it..

its so nice of you to actually go out with him.when you break up with him just don't hurt his feelings just say umm i wanna break up with u cause of reasons also ask him if wants to be friends.
