Look up "sword fighting lessons california" in Yahoo. I saw a place in Burbank, Long Beach, and San Diego in the search results.

Actually yes. I attend a Shinkendo study group in Valencia, CA. The main school is in Van Nuys taught by Sensei Matthew Lynch. He also teaches the study group. E-mail me if you have any questions or would like the dojo's number.

Hey there. I actually used to teach down there, but I moved back up to SF. There is a Shinkendo dojo somewhere on Ventura. you can google Kendo or Shinkendo.
