Are there actualy people who don't believe in global warming. I mean, I already believed in it before I saw "An Inconvenient Truth," but now I can't see why people wouldn't believe in global warming. Yes, I know that we are going through a "Natural Warming Period" but humans have boosted this alot.
Earth has increased by an average temperature of 1.8 degree's farenhieght but it is worse near the poles. and now no matter what the earth will increase an average of 2 degrees in the next 50 years.
"If you look at the ten hottest years ever measured, they've all ocured in the last 14 years, and the hottest of all was 2005," Said Al Gore in his movie "An Inconvenient Truth." And during August of 2005 Huricane Katrina caused 1,836 deaths and 81.2 dollars in damage. Earth has already sent us many warnings and eventualy she is gonna stab us when well least expect it, unless everyone starts acting right now.

Educate yourself. Read "State of Fear" by Dr.Michael Crichton. He writes about much information you will never hear about in gores "truth". Seems like to make the movie believable, some truth was a little to inconvenient for al.

#1 it is already been determined that if any global warming effect was adding to the fury of Katrina it was less than 1 map in wind speed. That means the rest was all natural. The number of deaths and the total amount of damage must be looked at as sad but a roll of the dice by those people living below sea level with an uncaring state and federal govt that failed to build adequate levees to protect the low lying areas.

#2 this entire planet was much hotter during the time of the dinosaurs this has been confirmed by many paleo climatologists.

#3 if you will check the climate of Europe to the last little ice age, you will find that at that point in time, the few inhabitants enjoyed a very mild climate and grew many cereal grains. this was all natural. so was the drop in temp of about 6f on a global scale.

#4 Could it be that planet earth is just warming up to where she used to be and we are not to blame. But that wouldn't make any headlines and no one could protest that.

It's really not a question of if it exists. The climate changes constantly. It has been warmer than this in the past, it will be colder than this in the future.
Viking raiders of the 9th and 10th century were successful because the water was deeper. Now, 1000 years later (Give or take) the water is shallow, but the earth is warming again. And the animal species that fed the viking raiders are still there and will continue to be there.

There is NO PROOF that humans are causing any kind of climate changes.

Detailed weather tracking has only been around for the last 100 or so years. So - they can definately say this is not a 500 year, 1,000 year, 5,000 year, 10,000 year or longer cycle??? I don't think so.

Man has not measured anything to do with "global warming" long enough to know what the heck the effect of man's industrial efforts are on the Earth.

If they were really worried about it, then all airline travel and space shuttle launches would stop. These two are the worst polluters of the upper atmosphere.
