If you wear glasses because of astigmatism do you need lasik to get in military academy?

No. There is nothing in the military that requires Lasik; those few occupations that require perfect vision--like flying aircraft--will not allow those who have had lasik because your eyes can still revert back to the condition they were.
I missed the deadlines for the Air Force Academy; otherwise I would be going there this fall, as opposed to the AFROTC program at the small university I will be attending. I am also very nearsighted, and have not run into any problems getting in.

I wear glasses. When I was in the Army I passed the physical for West Point. I did not go.
