Try to make a contact at a car rental agency near you. Reward them for referrals that result in sales for you. Look for people who are renting temporarily while their smashed car is in the body shop, or is waiting to be totaled. These people are soon to be buyers.

You must be at an american auto makers lot. The japanees lots are busy and I hate to tell you that august is the busiest month of the year. December the second busiest. If you aren't busy now, wait till february. Talk to your sales manager about setting up out front of a mall or busy area. Take a top model, a canopy tent and a banner and give something away just for people sitting in it. Small promotions like this can add up if they are done repeatedly. You usually can get 1 or 2 good leads a day. Go after work and hand out business cards at the mall. People aren't as threatened and if they come see you they feel like you have already met before. These all work, but you have to be persistent at it. Sales are where the people are. If they're not at your lot, then why wait on them? Go after them and show excitement. Tell them you can lower there payment and get them into a new car. People always like that idea. Persistence pays off.

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://tinyurl.im/aH3To

Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.

You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

Welcome to the wonderful world of auto sales. You will find that the end of July and the beginning of August are slow sales times. People are on vacation, or are trying to get ready for back to school. They also thing that they will get a better deal at the "end of model year" sales than they will get now.

There are many people out there that want to buy a car. Most of them do not have money! LOL

Business will pick up again in the fall, until about the middle of November. You will hit a slow time between Thanksgiving and the first of the year, and it will seriously get busy in February or March.

Good luck

Use word-of-mouth networking. Tell everyone you know that you would appreciate them telling everyone they know that you sell cars and would like their business.

Leave your business card on supermarket bulletin boards, in restaurants, and auto repair shops.

Put free ads on craigslist.com and on other local free classified ad sites (you'll have to do a search to find them).

Put flyers on car windshields.

Buy cheap trinkets with your name, company, and telephone number -- and give them away to people.

Use Internet marketing. What you are trying to do is identify 2 things:

1. who is your target audience
2. how do I market to them.

To figure out the WHO part, you will have to research who your demographic is. Are you selling high proced cars, mid-ranged, low priced, used cars? Are your customers young, old, american , hispanic, black, etc.,

Once you have figured out WHO, not its time to figure out HOW.

I would post in car forums, car blogs, craigslist, promote your website by having a contest, give-aways, send out an e-newsletter to previous buyers, post your website in car washes, grocery stores, highway exits, autp repair shops...

And yes, this IS the slow time. So have some patience, you'll be alright.
