I am afraid I do not believe the clocks were stopped. If your perception is that they have, it may be subjective. In that case, it is possible that you needed that "outside of time" experience for some enlightenment purpose, including getting above the concept of sin.

I have had the experience of being outside of time on a few occasions, but never without chemical assistance.

Edit: No, I take that back. My Steve used to be able to put me in a timeless space that would qualify as heaven. It's been so long . . .
