Which do you prefer, big dogs or little dogs and why?

Well I have a bishon poodle mix and she is the sweetest dog ever. I love small dogs because they are so easy to take care of, and they dont' take up alot of space. One of the people that answered this question said large or medium sized dogs because you can give them hugs? But you can give small dogs hugs to. You can hold small dogs also and you can put them in carrying cases, like dog purses for ex. can you do that with a big dog? no i didn't think so .

Medium size. They are sturdier, can play and walk for longer periods of time, but don't take as much room as a large dog. They also have longer lifespans than a lot of large dogs.

I have had a lot of small dogs and they come with their own limitations, although they generally live a long time.

Big dogs can be dangerous if not trained properly. I prefer smaller dogs because they require less training and fit in bags. Plus most apartments allow small dogs but not big ones. I have a little one and I love her to death.

I like smaller dogs more but I don't really know why it may be because my first pet was a small dog it was a Chihuahua and small dogs are easier to sit with and pet. Small dogs can fit in your lap that to me is good because I love dogs and want to spend time with them and small dogs are easier to keep in the house!

I like dogs between 20-60 pounds, so smallish to medium. Big enough to rough house with, but not overpowering.

I like dogs that are about 15-30lb. They are big enough to be sturdy but small enough to not hurt your lap if they are in it for a long time. My dog is 21.5lb which is pretty much perfect for me.
