Circumcision (chopping off protective and erogenous tissue equal to 15 square inches in an adult) is sexual abuse.

Would you chop out your infant daughter's breast tissue to prevent her from getting breast cancer someday?

The Bible gives instructions on how to perform circumcisions AND abortions (in Numbers).

i'm professional-selection and against the circumcision of toddlers. i've got self assurance circumcision is an pointless and too in lots of cases risky technique, and that i think of that's a shame that it extremely is culturally predicted to do it. If a youthful guy makes a decision he needs it executed, greater skill to him. yet i do no longer think of we could constantly flow around mutilating toddlers for no reason. Abortion...it occurs for a reason. i think of it very grotesque, and actual does no longer do it myself, a minimum of after the point wherein the fetus has developed a worried device, yet each lady has own motives and that i appreciate them. before the baby develops a worried device, it won't be able to think of or sense. hence, i think of abortion is extremely humane in the time of that factor. After that factor, i'm unsure. i don't be attentive to what the toddler can think of or sense, and that i don't be attentive to whilst the worried device is unquestionably-developed adequate to offer discomfort or innovations. that's unsettling, however the baby remains portion of the mummy's physique, and that i've got self assurance she could be waiting to make her own determination in this concern till/except we are able to arise with some concrete evidence. From what Google tells me, that's speculated that a fetus can sense discomfort someplace between weeks 10-20. So if it became into aborted before the 10th week, i could think of it may be extremely humane.

The amount of disinformation and ignorance here is staggering! bbd's, especially, since recent claims are that circumcision is being touted for homosexual males as an HIV-preventative measure. So, according to many experts, not only can circumcision be a contributing factor to males being homosexual (http://www.cirp.org/library/psych/cansever/ ) it can be used to bolster the lifestyle bbd is so adamantly against! Oh! The logic! LOL!

Well circumcision is for better hygiene and it has recently been noted that fewer women get cervical cancer if their partners are circumcised.

As for abortion - are you willing to support or adopt an unwanted child? Have you ever sent money to Africa or other 3rd world nations to keep children from starving? Do you change the channel when those types of programs come on or maybe even shut the TV off and read your bible??? Is what you don't see acceptable to you? If you are a christian how can you let all those children suffer? Spend some missionary money on the children not on saving winos and lay-abouts at the mission.

I'm not sure how you think abortion relates to circumcision...unless you think we are killing our babies when we circumcise them?
A circumcised child is carried out of the hospital with his parent/s, and goes home, to live out his normal life span.
An aborted child...well, perhaps you can figure out the difference for yourself.

I've raised three boys of my own, and four girls. I've had tons of young boys around my house, and, whether you realize it or not, you can usually tell boys who have not been circumcised. No matter how clean they are, there is a smell...

I don't understand your comment about mutilating our kid's body...actually, a circumcised child is cleaner and ultimately, healthier than not.
There is nothing "religious" about this, it's just a fact.

From the distaff side:
Having also raised four girls, and having tons of girls around my house...and having listened to their talk as grown women and mothers themselves, most women seem to prefer a circumcised lover. Again, he is cleaner, and there isn't that smell, which becomes more pronounced when the man is naked and aroused. Women in general don't really enjoy bad smells...expecially when they are feeling romantic.
As mothers, they think that caring for a circumcised boy is much easier than not...there is no pulling back anything to clean underneath.

Maybe evolution just hasn't caught up yet...

first off it is a Jewish custom that just kind of carried over into mostly western society...not very common in Europe..

However I do not have a son, but I do not think it is mutilation since it can reduce prostate problems in the future, and it makes it a little easier for them to keep clean (try explaining to a six year old how to clean underneath the skin)...However that is a parents choice if they want to circumcise or not..

It is very similar to the tribes that scar their children's bodies in rituals or tattoo them..that is mutilation according to our society but in theirs it is a sign of beauty...or female circumcision now that is mutilation..So if you want to understand why people do things..you are going to be interviewing a lot of people..since there are a lot worse ways to mutilate your child...and I didn't even go into the people that abuse their children for the heck of it...

Way worse problems in today's society than whether or not a parent chooses to have a piece of skin cut from their child's penis.

Don't think any babies are being killed by circumcision. I could be wrong though. Beside they are not as common as they used to be, anyway. Circumcisions, that is.

For many years it was done automatically because of health concerns, health concerns that were unfounded.

Well generally abortion is not acceptable at all, adoption would be the main choice of most... but I have heard of church being more accepting when incest or rape is involved... but before one chose abortion they should seek medical help as well as counseling and talking to the baby's father if possible and close family, friends.

Apples and Oranges. But circumcision reduces the amount of erogenous sensations in the male. So one could say if there were less circumcisions there would be more premature ejac.. and therefore less abortions.

Circumcision when done on young infants is actually proven to prevent diseases and so many doctors do that just for medical health reasons rather than just religious reasons. Abortion is the killing of a child and so a completey different matter.

Circumcision does not end the life of a child, abortion does.
Circumcision was commanded to be conducted to each Jewish boy on the 8th day.
God never commanded ANYONE at ANYTIME to abort a child.
