Your biggest worry should be about the drive to the airport. If you survive that, you'll be just fine. Happy flying.

I inspect aircraft for a living everyday. Are they safe to fly, of course. And the pilots are trained to fly them unlike automotive drivers. Aircraft are required to be inspected every year and depending on how often they fly in hours they are inspected more often.
You a sick in he head because you have heard to many wrong stories about aircraft from your friends who don’t know what they are taking about.
You can trust a profession aircraft mechanic when I say they are safe to fly in. I would put my 30-plus years up against any auto mechanic or car driver any day.
Just listen to the pilot and see what they do checking the aircraft before they fly this is required before every flight. Cars are never inspected before each ride. So which is safer planes or cars? Again planes are safer.
I even fly with my dog because they are so safe. Check out my web site to see my dog "Tess".

Go ahead and worry if it makes you feel better. But you are more likely to have a problem driving to the airport than on the flight. Feel free to worry about that also.

Don't worry. The size of the plane will not affect the safety of it. The pilots and the maintenance is what affects things the most.

out of all aircraft, small planes are the safest. they can land pretty on any road and they have the best glide ration, compared to airliners and heli's.

As long as the pilot is better at flying than you are at spelling you should be fine.
