i have started preparing for a wedding that is still several months away, and just for the fun of the occasion i have been trying to find some contest to enter or maybe even a show, just something crazy to do... nothing like Bridezilla though... does anyone know how to go about entering for contests or participating in shows over the internet, or should i just keep grabbing bridal and wedding magazines to see if there are any entry forms there? thanks

Gizzy, my new wife of two months spend hours on a site called Wedding Bells. She spoke with many other future brides and shared ideas etc. I honestly don't know much about the site other than it kept her occupied for hours and she enjoyed participating in it. I do believe that there are plenty of contests on there also, or that some of the other women on their will send you to new ones as they become available. Hey, best of luck in planning you special day and hope you have a great wedding (as we did) and a long and happy marriage.

I don't know exactly what kind of contests you're looking for...

If you're looking for contests for anything and everything to dow tih weddings, bridal shows and wedding shows (convention type shows) are the best place to go. They have contests for everything from winning a free fondue fountain rental to winning a wedding dress.

If you're looking to be on a wedding show, research the shows that you like (A Wedding Story, Rich Bride/Poor Bride, Wedding SOS, etc) online. Go to their website, most websites have a link to request/register to be on the show.
