In a relationship, it is VERY important to have enough money to not get side tracked by the struggles of life. If you're holding down two jobs just to pay the rent and get through the month, then where's the time for love? Money might not be MORE important, but it is definitely important.

Having money gives you the opportunity to let love blossom.

...although two people sincerely love one another, is it okay for the responsible woman to put up with the man's severaly irresponsible behaviour, such as staying drunk and pushing her around, financially leaching off of her, refusing to become a legal citizen so that he can get a better paying job instead of just $200.00/week, not divorcing his wife although they've seperated for about 3 years now? Buying new rims to make his car look ghetto'ish instead of spening it wisely when the woman works her @ss off to support her two kids and him?!?!??!?!

The guy asking this question is 43 years old and I am his ex-girlfriend. I've been on his @ss forever to grow up and he won't. But he thinks everyone is on his @ss instead of realizing the problem lies with him. He thinks he does no wrong. He thinks I'm being greedy when I kick him out of the house for his lack of responsibility. If he had any sense whatsoever, he wouldn't be homeless right now, or leaching off of the neighbor, who is also a single mother of two barely making it. He's never had to be on his own a day in his life so he doesn't understand it.

Love is supposed to be more important in a relationship, but nowadays, as long as you got money, that's all that's important, but I'll say LOVE!!!!!!!!!!

What is more important, is how the two people love, care and trust eachother. And how they communicate with eachother!

Money, not an option if two people really love eachother!
