We still have bread and circuses. Every time one of the big shots gets in trouble like Enron. The media covers stories about celebrities or they take down a famous scape goat like Martha Stewart to draw attention away from the real crimes.
American Idol reality TV there all diversions to keep us divided and NOT talking about the scum what are in power.
Just like Rome.

Nope.. The Coliseum was only possible due to slaves in order to bring it back we would have to bring back slavery which I believe is wrong..
