N is a guy who ive tried to be friends with for years, but one of us is always taken. Now were both divorced, so we started txting, and hangin out. After i started to fall hard for him, he tells me theres a gf of a few months. So i lightly pry, and she lives w him. I was ticked! He sez he cant return her love, but doesnt wanna throw her out on her butt. He sez when shes gone, hes mine. Yada yada. I sed i dont want a heavy relationship, fine being friends w bennies. (If she were respectable id back off) He doesnt make empty promises, doesnt tell me what i want to hear. He treats me like a goddess. He has compassion and weve both admitted a strong connection. Hes totally honest about his personal junk, but i know hes a liar and cheat. (he's admitted it to me!) I want to say call me when shes gone, but if were just friends w bennies, do i just ignore the passion and feelings? Or is there a potential for something real? Or, is he just a playa? Hes in no hurry to get rid of her. (it seems)

I didnt give it up yet, so why does he keep coming back? He doesnt want me to do anything to him, he likes to 'make me happy' lets just say. I dont want a relationship now, so it doesnt matter if were both playin eachother, right? Has N E one else been in this mess too?

He's playing you while keeping you on the back burner! Get rid of him and you'll find someone who treats you like you deserve.

Backwoodscutie it sounds to this old fool like your satisfied with being selected as runner up or taking second place. Try and build up your ego enough so that you can go out and find a male who will be straight up and down with you and treat you as an equal and a partner, because I believe that you are going to be a lonely lady for a long while because this other woman is there for the long run, or until she finds out that he is a low down dog that is willing to trade up once she hits the road. Who knows maybe he'll pull the same stunt on you. Get on with your own life and find some happiness without this male in your life.
