ok i have not ever seen my real dad but i tried to right him but he never wrote back i sent a card for his brithday but he never wrote back i realy want to write him aen get a leter back so what do i do

Sara I suppose you could attempt to get in contact with him and explain that you'd like to have contact with him. If he chooses he will respond and let you know if he has the same interests and goals for your relationship as you have. Would suggest that you prepare yourself for his answer whether it be positive or negative though. Good luck to you and if he doesn't respond then do not continue to try and reach him as it would appear that at present time he isn't ready to begin a relationship with you.

you know what, i have one of the same problems, but my dad left when i was about 12 or soemthing, and he has another family. and doesnt want me or my mother apart of it.
theres just some things you have to live with. yes, its sad. but maybe you dont even know if hes getting the letters, you don't know for sure that thats hes recieving them or reading them. my dad on the other hand told me he wants nothing to do with me. theres the point of knowing, and not knowing. right now may be hard for you, but just forget about me. try to think about other things.
eventually he will come around. if it helps, try talking to your grandma (his mom) for some information.
