You should eat after. If you are hungry before, eat a Power Bar. This way it will get you through the workout and you won't end up feeling fatigued. Just don't gorge yourself after working out. That's one of the perils of working out on an empty stomach.

You should never work out on an empty stomach. You should eat a piece of fruit around 11 am so it had time to start digesting in your stomach but also give you the energy you need to have a good workout

Personally I always work out before eating. If I eat first my stomach starts to hurt, like stiches or side pain. I do try and drink a liter of water at least 20 mintues prior to working out. Helps fight off any hunger until I can eat again.

It's better to work out on an empty stomach.
Less chance of throwing up, or burping acid.
Only trouble is, work-out may give you an appetite.

You know what you've lost after you've exercised, so you know what you should eat.
When you eat before, you're only losing what you've taken in, and there fore, must work harder to lose your original body fat.
