I am a black man and all my life I have been racist towards dating white women. My white friends kept saying I was racist and wrong because I would not go on a date with this white girl. So I eventually gave her a chance and all we did was went out to dinner. I did not even find her attractive at first but she was really nice towards me. After that something snapped and now I only want to be with white women now!
I know most of you are like, "who gives a ****?" or "This is a dumb question" but I want to ask.
What caused me to change?
My white male friends said they knew it all along that I love white women (playfully joking). Could it be that me restricting my self for 20 years from being in an interracial relationship caused me to have a reverse affect?

Maybe you've just found the right person. Takes a few times. I mean, I'm black and my gf is white and I'm happy with her. But trust me, its much better if you don't restrict yourself because you'll have a better chance at finding someone who is great for you.
What caused you to change is that you saw firsthand that your earlier views were proven wrong.

Hm. I don't know if it was your 20 years of "white" abstinance that made you reverse all the sudden. I do believe, however that during your date, you saw this young lady as a person. Just a nice person...and for that evening, you were able to relate to her on a human level as opposed to on a black/white level.
I'm glad you've realized that people are just people. We are all apart of the same race (the human one) and we just have differnet colored bodies, that's all.

I was in the same kinda position, never racist, just never thaught about dating a hispanic girl. I ended up going out with this el salvadorean girl, n i got hooked on latinas. for a while i would only go out with hispanic chics. I guess because it was different from wut i was used to. Its either a phase, n its new n exciting, or subconsciously u realized u actually prefer white chics. Give it some time, ull know if its a phase or ur preferance.

You are racist. You just changed teams. Why do you only want to be with white women? Just chill and take people for who they are regardless of race. You do seem to have a hang up on race

you let fear and hate rule you for too long and now that you let it go - theres a lot of pleasure to catch up on. don't limit yourself to being exclusive to white or black - just be open to a person WHATEVER the color and I'm sure you will have plenty of more joyful encounters with all kinds of people.

y do u limit urself 2 skin color? u liked da girl bcuz of her personality or looks, don't think dat every white girl is da same. we're all humans, we breathe oxygen and bleed when stabbed. dat's like only liking a dog bcuz of its fur. u'd say all dogs r basically da same no matter what it looks likes, so y not humans?
