It is doesn't reference published studies that I can obtain at a library or through interlibrary loan,I ignore it. Anybody can toss out a reference to a fake "study" that supposedly proves this or that; if it exists, and is known to the webmaster - supposedly - then it must have been published,in which case the author, publisher and year of publication would be noted. I always use discretion, you can never and I mean NEVER believe everything you read. Too many closed-minded ignorant people out there writing what they believe to be the truth. If you went to the KKK's web site would you believe what they write just because it's written? I wouldn't.

Some websites are more credible than others. I try to learn as much as I can about as much as possible so I can judge for myself which websites are credible. This is easier than it sounds. If you familiarize yourself with logical thinking, you can usually tell when someone is lying to you or using a poor argument. You can then have some idea of how credible the rest of that person's arguments are.

That really depends on what information the website is sharing. I have visited numerous so-called christian websites, only to find that they are preaching hatred of others beliefs. So I try to look at many with an open heart.

Just my thoughts...

I always check my sources. Any poor slob can post things on a website. Trust only those that can be verified (associated with known and reputable organizations).

depends on who the authors are and how transparent their are in showing us their lives and their commitment to God...also how much truth is on the site and do the verses match up with the bible or does the information match up with the bible..

Do they preach good and pleasant things all the time or do they tell the important truths which will change your life?
