You should first spend time in courtship of dating and getting to know him. I feel that you should wait four to six months before having sex with your boyfriend.

If you're an adult, and you are looking for something a little more serious I have a "two month rule."

That is you take some time to get to know each other first... that way you dont sleep with just anyone you happened to be attracted to at the moment. Physical attraction brings two people together but you dont find out if your personalities and lifestyles are relationship material until much later.

You should really know someone well before you engage in sex with them and do something you might regret. If they really want to get to know you, they will wait a long time. If you are not an adult yet, you should not even be thinking about it. Teen pregnancy and STDs are no joke. You don't want to ruin your life because curiousity killed the cat.

There is no time limit on when you should have sex with someone. If you are grown it should be when you are ready, just don' t do something you will regret.

That's completely up to you two...if he's your "boyfriend" then apparently you two have been together long enough to establish a monogamous relationship so have it when you are both ready (providing you are adults)>

There is no set time limit. It should be when BOTH of you are ready, and when you have read up on and obtained birth control. If you don't feel ready, then don't do it. If he can't wait, then he isn't the one for you.
