The bridge was equipped with video surveillance and the bridge next to it, that is how it was caught on tape. A very, very sad occurence. That 12 billion a month that we are spending to "fight terror in Iraq" could be put to much better use to help reinforce our infrastructure like- bridges, highways, levees, damns, and our power grid.

They were sitting there with the video camera for the past 2 years just waiting for something like this to happen. There are people like that on every bridge in America just waiting....
It's a boring job but it has to be done or we would have no news
