It's not clear whether it's your children or not but if they are, shame on them. They have a very tolerant and patient mother. They are lucky and you are not stupid. But at least they're telling you what they think which either means they don't respect you or it means they trust you 'cos you're such a good mum. :) x

I know what you mean! Ignoring them would be the best thing to do. Kids have become ruder over the last decade or so, at least so it seems. Or maybe I am just getting older.

well, you are the adult, and they are children; so behave so. Be an adult and suck it up while realising that you were that way once. They'll understand when they are older, you may educated them if you feel it is merited, however don't expect them to behave on your level, that is well........childish
