doesn't sound like it. you'll have to end task and hope it saves your last piece of work. it is always best to periodicly to save your work while working on something. all i can susggest is end task, no other way around it. when you reopen photoshop click file, then click recent see if it saved anything from your work.

you are going to lose the work, the only choice or option you have is to begin again, you CPU is caught in a cycle loop...the only way to prevent this, is to perform a "save as" on the project every 15 minutes or so, to save your work. That way, if it should have again, you always have at least a point in which to start from....also, shut down any and all bground programs and services not needed and that will also free up CPU power for adobe

bummer dude..Only thing that might save you is...Is your workstation networked to a local server that periodically makes back up copies of network traffic? If so, you may need to get in touch with your resident IT/nerd guy.And see what he can pull of the serveror backup tapes. If not, start updating your resume...

if the program has crashed you will of lost the work unless you have been saving as you went alone.

the lesson here for everyone is keep saying work as you go along
