Hi

There are several sites I like to go to on a daily basis. Is there any way that I can open multiple tabs simultaneously? I have found the 'add tab group' button - but this just adds all the pages in the open tabs to a folder in favourites - that then still need to be opened individually. I was hoping it would create a single line on the favourites menu that I could click and several tabs open at once.

I'd be really grateful if anyone could let me know if this is possible - or if it is in another browser.

Thanks

I do the same as you and look at loads of websites daily, and there is an easy way to do this. This isn't to go against any elses answer but my advice is don't add them all to your home page, because you can't open you IE then without them all starting and it can slow things down.

This is what I did, Open up all you websites you want to view daily, then click on the 'add tab group' button you mentioned and give it a name under tab group name, (something like dailys) then press add.
I'm not sure how you access your favorites at the moment as there are two ways but click on the favorites button in the left hand corner (The star on the left is the one you need) and hover your mouse over the folder you created i.e. dailys, and an arrow on the right side of the name of the folder should appear as you hover over the folder, click on that and whatever you put in that folder will all open in tabs, alternatively right click on the folder and click 'open in tab group'
Hope this is the sort of thing you wanted and you can understand cause sometimes i'm not too great at explaining things

Maybe not as versatile as what you're looking for, but you can set your "Home" page to be multiple tabs - this will open up a group of tabs whenever you start the browser or click the home button on your toolbar.

Go to IE Tools, Internet Options, then the General Tab. Creating multiple home pages is as simple as hitting the enter key to go down a line, one URL per line.

Internet Explorer will open all of your home pages when you start Internet Explorer, or when you click on the Home button on the toolbar.

Sounds like a good idea to me - but the only way I have found so far is to open new tabs and then get site from Favs.

yes you can.... open internet explorer... go to tools and internet options...

where it displays your home page..... put a new address on every line ... should look like this:

www.yahoo.com
www.google.com
www.msn.com
www.myspace.com
www.youtube.com

save your changes and close internet explorer... when you reopen it.. all those tabs will open at the same time! :)

Better off getting rid of IE7 and going with Firefox.Much more secure and stable.I use Firefox myself and would never go back to IE7.

You can do it in Mozilla Firefox, all you need to do is put them in a folder then you can open them all at once
