I started talking to a younger guy a year ago. I was a little nervous at first and I didn't go out. I recently realized that I think he is lying. He has always said we are friends buit he comes back to me saying that other people are asking about us. His family insists that I like him and they are picky about who are his friends. His sister told me not to blow it, because she likes me. I don't understand why his family is always questioning me if he told them we are just friends. Secondly I went out with him to the movies and his other female friend was there. She asked me "How do we know each other". He made no eye contact and I spoke to who I was. I never confronted him and I thought I would look to obvious if I asked. He is very confused now that I don't talk to him. I am really hurt. He gave me flowers, told me I was beautiful and so forth. I didn't want to get into with him so I just told him I wanted space. He says he still doesn't believe I am being honest with him.

Trust is something that takes time to build. As long as you can be honest with him, things SHOULD work out for the best.

Maybe he has told his parents that he likes you more then a friend. But probably too scared to tell you, maybe you two need to sit down and have a serious conversation about it and find out how he really feels about ya'lls "friendship".

Trust should be earned,not given out freely. But it sounds, honestly, like you two will not have a long happy relationship, maybe you should move on. Good luck!

tell him the truth its the only thing to do otherwise ur just going to hate the situation . be honest
