My husband and I want to take our two sets of twins to Disney World next summer. Our older twins will be almost three and our youngest set will be about 7 months. Do you think that is a good idea? Our older set went last year for Christmas. I am pregnant this year with the second set of twins and we are only going on a short vacation. Do you think wee should wait until our second set is older?

We just got back from a vacation with our 5yo and 1yo. It was AWFUL!!!! The older one can't understand why we couldn't do everything. We had to go back to the room and take naps because nap free days are not as good as they're made out to be. Overtired kids are CANTANKEROUS!!! The 3 year olds really aren't old enough to be able to ENJOY Disney World, even though they've already been once. I'd advise you, on my perspective ot wait until EVERYBODY can injoy the trip. The younger ones would love to see it when they can comprehend what the heck is going on. 4 or 5 is an AWESOME age. The older ones would like it even more because they'd be able to do so much more. Start putting money aside now, and go first class all the way. you'd be much happier not having to cater to the schedules of infants.

Wow congrats on the twins! two sets thats amazing you must be one busy family! From experience going to amusement parks with my kids being 2 and 3yrs old it is a lot of work and I only have two! My 3yr old just recently was able to get on most of the kiddy rides when we made a trip to paramounts greater america in santa clara. He really enjoyed it but my daughter couldn't get on anything. With you twins only being 7 months old it might be hard on you. It is possible you just have to plan really well. Make sure to take into account feedings and naps for all of them and take turns with your husband to take a break from kid watching so that you can go on some of the rides with your older twins. Also at that age they may not be able to stand a whole day at an amusement park so if you will be getting a hotel room get one nearby so that you can leave during the afternoon to have them take a nap and wind down and then if they are up for it have them go back in the evening to watch some shows and of course the fireworks!! Have fun!!

To me the idea sounds like a huge mega-headache/disaster just waiting to happen but then that's just my opinion. I think 3 is still way too young to really enjoy and rememeber the vacation. Also, they won't understand that you will have to organize everyday around the infants. I suggest waiting until all of the kids are old enough to enjoy and remember the vacation. You and your husband will probably enjoy it a lot more too if you wait until they're older.

I'd rather take infants than restless toddlers. Do it next summer or wait until the younger ones are at least 4. Toddlers are hard because they don't like being cooped up in strollers, don't adjust well to massive schedule changes and are often afraid of the characters. I admire your courage! You do realize of course that when the little ones are old enough to look at the pictures of your previous trip they will want to know when their turn is!

ask yourself why u are going? we took a2 year old and a 4 year old plus my hubby hates crowds. we liked the pool time and together time off work. walkign around in the heat wasnt fun- the lines werent fun and the kids just wanted to see the disney characters not stand in lines.
when theyre older would have been better.....
but me meeting mickey was great!

You have got to be kidding! Your just wasting your money to take them at this time. I would wait until the oldest are at least 10-12 years old.

do what you want. I f the kids are having fun it wont hurt to have a sandwich and let them have fun. The inner ones will love the sandwich and the noise. sitting on a bench wont hurt you, ask your doc and get approval. I think babies inside love a good burger! Talk to the doc because it sounds like fun just to watch. just watch the coaster because tour precious cargo will love the burgers and plain nachos no peppers! Congrats to you all!!!!

Yes, wait because they are too young to remember it anyway.
