I don't want to sign with military at all. Why was this sent to me?

Man up and sign or possibly face jail time and NO COLLEGE LOANS or GRANTS !!!

If you would read the answers to your previous post, you'd know.
Registering with Selective Service is mandatory for all 18-25 year olds. It is NOT registering for the military. It is sent to all males turning 18 years old.
You probably registered at school already. Most high schools take care of it.

Okay, not everyone is cut out to be in the military, there are alternatives to serving your country. Don't be a sponge. Do something positive either for your community or country.
Trust me on this, the military doesn't want you if you don't want it.
But I will tell you one thing: The experiences and friendships you make will last a life time.

well,if you ever want any federal loans(housing, student, etc) then file with Selective Service. it takes all of 30 seconds online.
the chances of a draft ever being called into play again is ZERO. the military doesn't want one, the military doesn't need one and they sure as hell don't want anyone who doesn't to be in the military.

because you are an American and dont worry taking 5 minutes out of your day to register will be the last time your nation, and your home ever ask anything of you I promise. After that you can go back to being a little leach and take for granted your freedom.
Of course you do not have to register but I bet you will want finacial aid and stuff huh?

Because you are an American and everyone has to do it when they turn 18. You do not have a choice. There hasn't been a dreaft since vietnam. So shut your mouth, sign the paper and enjoy the freedom the military provides for you.

It's mandatory for all males to register at age 18.
Don't worry. There is no draft. There's not going to be a draft. Also, you'd need a 27 on the ASVAB and I'm not sure you're up to it.

shut your mouth there is not going to be a draft the military doesn't need one nor want one because we don't want our military to be full of a bunch of people who dont follow orders ,and end up getting killed after beingin one week in country. a word of advice stop watching cnn.well that made my point and answered the question... two birds with one stone!

Its the law if you are male and if you want any kind of federal money for college you need to do it. Don't worry about the draft for now we still have men and women willing to put the greater good above themselves.
