I heard a wonderful bibble passage at church 2 weeks ago and was wondering if anyone knows which passage it is.

It says something about God giving us what we pray for aslong as its good for us.

Mat 21:22 And all things, whatever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.

Hope this helps...

There is scripture that tells you that God answers prayers...but remember God's answer isn't always the same answer YOU have in mind.
You can read all the scripture you want, but remember your prayers (no matter how dedicated you are) will be skewed by your own imperfections.

Matthew 7
7"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

9 "Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! 12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

There are a few scriptures that fit that format one of which is found in John 15:7 (It reads) If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Hope this helps. Be Blessed!!!
