According to the Translink webpage, it says that BART will be onboard in 2007, but there is no information on the BART website about it. So is BART now part of Translink or no?

BART will unfortunately not accept Translink cards until December 2007. (see meeting packet below).

Muni Metro, though, currently accepts it (at least at the underground stations. I haven't tried on the surface sections). You just get the station agent's attention, tag your card, and then the agent will dispense you a transfer.

There are no indications on when CalTrain will come onboard, but I think all of Muni is supposed to accept in late fall /early winter (but knowing Muni, it'll probably be later).

It is best to assume that the answer is no.

BART is still working on its EZRider system. It would stand to reason that they won't accept Translink until their own system is up and running.
