I don't think that the Priory of Scion was ever totally realistic, but there could be an unannounced group out there really doing what Dan Browns Priory was supposed to have done.
But as far as the Jesus and Mary Magdalene theory... I think its VERY possible.

Considering that Pierre Plantard (alleged last Grand Master of the Priory) outed himself as a forger in the 1960s, and that the entire story was a scam/hoax, Id have to say NO.

Yes. They are. They battle everytime I move that damn book. do you understand how many book tables have been ripped through with mini-bullet holes and there's about 40 mini-swords sticking out of my last one. annoying really.
