It seems like life would just be easier for atheists if they accepted God.
It must be hard to be an atheist and not be able to go into direct sunlight without bursting into flames. If I could only leave my house at night I'd be mad at God too.
Also, atheists cannot touch holy relics such as a bible or cross without their skin starting to sizzle. It must also be difficult for atheists to constantly be worried about accidentally drinking holy water, because it is like a Christian drinking cyanide.
And doesn't it bother you guys that people are always staring at you because of your pointy ears and fangs?
The most difficult thing about being an atheist, though, must be the reliance on human blood for survival. It just seems like such a hassle to constantly be finding human blood to drink.
In light of all these difficulties atheists face in today's society, do any of you think it would just be easier to be a fundamentalist?

This isn't a question about Pascal's Wager. It's about Buffy the Atheist Slayer.

Direct sunlight doesn't bother them. That's what sunscreen if for. Duh.
And really, blood isn't so hard to come by. The pointy ears can be fixed with plastic surgery.

Tell me if it is convienent to accept such an evil leader.
Who approves of slavery and rape. Murder and then lies.
I will never accept.
When i was little i was put into a catholic school, was baptised when i was born, did my comunion and confirmation.
Never will i accept such a horrible leader if God were ven somehow real. However there is a load of poof that God does not exists and people choose to ignore it. for good i will defy the bible and spread Good morals. Not aproval of rape or slavery, or some insane god of people aproving people to murder insanely , ravage people and societies, children just because he is God. It is wrong on such a un imiginable scale and for those who continue to defend such a Leader with excuses only shows me that you yourself are so scared of it being in the bible or that you are willing to defend such evil.

Im much more satisfied being an atheist, I don't have to try hard at all to hold up my side of a debate in gods lack of existence. Where as a fundamentalist has to somehow actually prove the world is only a few thousand years old.

Well it wouldn't really be any better...
The whole burning thing, you just have to be careful, especially in hotels where they carelessly leave bibles for us to accidentally burn ourselves on. The whole thing where US currency makes our skin boil and hearing the pledge of allegiance (with the word god added in the 50s like with the money) makes us go deaf for about 20 minutes, that's not so bad either once you get used to it. :)
I'd rather have all the burning and pointy fangs than be a fundamentalists any day though... that requires a degree of ignorance and stupidity I just don't feel comfortable with.

Don't forget that we really might as well accept Jesus, "just in case." I assumed this was heading in the direction of a Pascal's Wager, drinking game question.
Instead, it seems that atheists are now vampires...lol. But that's cool. I always thought vampires were sexy.

To accept that which you do not totally believe is hypocrisy. Christians prove this truth. To mix in the myths of blood is plain silliness.

You know, I went into a church a few weeks ago for a wedding, and completely did not burst into flames. =0)

"It must be hard to be an atheist and not be able to go into direct sunlight without bursting into flames"
does that mean you think all atheists are white?

Totally. Untainted blood is hard to find these days, and the whole "Sorry but I can't go to your wedding" thing has killed a LOT of friendships...

I'd rather drown in my own vomit than become a fundamentalist and I really don't like saying that about other's beliefs.
