Ok so I seasoned the ground beef I added some sauteed onions and peppers with a lil tomato sauce then put it all together. Then I mixed some bread crumbs, parmesan cheese and eggs together and put the mixture all together with the meat then I molded it into the loaf shape spread some ketchup on it then wrapped it in bacon and now it's in the oven.
Will it taste good?

Sounds like you did good babe. I've never personally tried it with bacon but as long as the bacon isn't overcooked when the meatloaf is done it should come out just right. Next time you should try seasoning the tomato sauce as well as the ground beef so the tomato flavor isnt as bland. Just a suggestion though :-)

yeah you should add these as side dishes.

Simple Ranch Chicken Macaroni Salad

INGREDIENTS
1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 (2.25 ounce) can chopped green olives
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons milk
1 (10 ounce) can chicken chunks, drained
1 (1 ounce) package dry Ranch-style dressing mix
2 teaspoons paprika

DIRECTIONS
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the macaroni, and cook until tender, about 8 minutes. Drain, and pat dry.
In a medium bowl, mix together the celery, olives, mayonnaise, sour cream, milk, chicken and Ranch dressing mix. Stir in macaroni until well blended. Refrigerate for 24 hours. Stir, and sprinkle paprika over the top before serving.

African Potato Salad

INGREDIENTS
2 eggs
2-1/2 medium white potatoes with skin
1/4 bunch green onions, chopped
1/4 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1/4 cup and 2 teaspoons mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
DIRECTIONS
Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook for 10 minutes. Remove eggs with a slotted spoon and set aside to cool. Add whole potatoes to the water and boil until a knife is easily inserted, but they are not too soft. Drain and cool.
Peel and chop the eggs and place them in a large serving bowl. Stir in the green onions. When the potatoes have cooled, peel and chop then add them to the bowl. Pour in the sweetened condensed milk and stir in the mayonnaise. Sprinkle parley over the top. Chill until serving. This is best served chilled.

Sounds interesting. The bacon may cook while the meat underneath stays a bit soggy rather than forming a nice crust. The outside may end up a bit gray.

Some people like it that way.

absolutly it will taste great. my mom does the same thing and I took over the same recipe, but next time, what would make it better would be woutisheir sauce (however you spell it), paprika, and ketchup in the mixture and put some ontop once you molded it and spread it with a butter knife or something flat. enjoy! :D

It should be pretty good. A few minutes before it is done, top with a mixture of Ketchup (1 cup), honey (2 tablespoons) and worchestershire sauce (2 teaspoons).

P.S. In the future, check out www.cooks.com for some great recipes and/or to see if you've got all the needed ingredients to make something. I wanted to make onion rings and found the batter recipe there. Happy cooking!

Sounds great, should be yummy. But the best thing will be the leftovers. I make meatloaf sandwiches. White bread, mayo, a little S & P, catsup and lettuce. Try it!

Sounds pretty good! I'd add garlic, and Italian seasonings. Otherwise, it's awesome to me! And thanks for reminding me that we haven't had meatloaf in ages, and I'll be stealing that recipe! :)
