. . . so many claim that they've seen Him, or talked to Him. Some even were healed by God, and some saw him when they died (and came back to life).

People even kill for their Gods, and some even blames thier God for their bad deeds. Some ask forgiveness and then do the same thing over.

Some preaches God's words, and then think and do evil things like condemn other people, lie, talk behind other people's back, or go to a titty bar (dollar on the mouth).

Don't you think God exist? I think you do, but I'm thinking that you guys just don't like Him (or the ones that preaches.)

Christians, how can you say there is no santa when little children stay up all night trying to find him?

I don't believe that any god exists. I'm not saying that there is absolutely no possibility that any god exists, just that I don't believe one does based on the evidence at hand.

No one has ever completely died--for more than a few seconds, at most--and then come back to life. Near death experiences vary from culture to culture--a Hindu who has an NDE will see the Hindu avatars, for example. People have hallucinations, when they are near death and at other times. I have never once seen evidence of an authentic "miracle" that cannot be more easily explained by something grounded in reality. (People also say that they see fairies and monsters and ghosts. I don't think this is credible evidence of their existence.)

People kill for a lot of things. That proves nothing. People also preach and teach some pretty insane stuff. I talked to a man recently who believes that we are an illusion, and that the dream world is reality. Is that true, too?

I don't believe in any god/s. You can think that I do if you want (it seems to make you theists feel better for some reason), but you'll be wrong.

people claim to have seen god when they die and come back do to something that happens with the brain. look up near death experiences, its science.
oh and this healing you speak of, its also science.
it was the chemo that cured your grandmas cancer, not "god"
it was the meds that cured your chlymidia, not "god"
it was the cast that healed your little brothers broken arm, not "god"
it was the surgery that removed your friends tumor, once again not "god"

do you see a pattern here?

oh and those people who kill for their gods, those are called terorists. you may remember the ones from September 11th? their brain washed pshyco paths, not good people

just use your brain, do some research and you might learn something that is real

For every religion that currently exists or that has existed, you will find many people that will claim to have communicated, been touched, healed, cursed by their god. This is one reason that "experiences" can't be used as proof. Since "god" provided the bible, you would assume that it could be tested for truth -- unfortunately it fails miserably.

You can think whatever you like - I don't believe there a god, no matter what the name. I don't believe in faith healing, near-death experiences, or exorcisms, either.

People also claim they've seen aliens - do you believe them? Or does it only count when they call it god?

If it makes you sleep better to believe you live in a world where everyone really believes in god but is just "mad at him", then go for it. But it's not true.

to all the atheists , do you really think that you wake up by
your self's and you think that it is luck when something good
happens . wrong that's god blessing because he loves so much he sent his only son to die on a cross and to be beaten and nailed to a cross for you guys , no you did n't ask him too
but that's how much he loves you , he wants to be a part of your life , see rather you love him or not he keeps protecting
and blessing you , the lord reigns on the just and unjust.
i will be praying for all of you that don't want Jesus to be apart of your life, because there will come a day , where if you don't
accept him as your lord and Savior , you will be burning in hell
the rest of your life. and there will be no more chances to accept him as your Savior.

be blessed favoured with the lord.

No, I don't "think" god exists. Why? There is no evidence of any kind to indicate that "he" does exist, and tons of evidence against "his" existence.

As for your "evidence" -- here's how most of it goes:
(christian)I was healed by god, proof he exists!
(atheist) what were you sick with?
(christian) cancer, and god cured me!
(atheist) did you go to the doctor?
(christian) yes, had an operation and chemotherapy. They told me I only had a 50% chance of survival...and I survived! Proof that god cured me!
(atheist) so the doctors who operated and the medicine didn't have anything to do with it, it was all god's doing...?
(christian)yes! And more proof -- the poor muslim in the bed next to me with the same cancer *died*, proving god is with christians!

(atheist) um, but you both had a 50% chance of survival...one lived, one died...which exactly proves the survival odds...

(christian)I don't need science or math mumbo-jumbo, I KNOW god did it!

(atheist)Sigh.

Peace.

Soooo ok..by this reasoning I can say that I have seen and talked to a 1,000 pound pink caterpillar who healed my stubbed toe, and I am so happy about it that I am going to go out and kill all the non-believers of the CaterpillarGod and because I have done these things that makes the CaterpillarGod real and if you say he doesn't exist it's just because YOU don't like him.

I mean..c'mon...

I've never said that there is no god. But all those who say they've seen one can never produce any evidence to support their claim. And I think it really isn't fair for you to suggest that you know what I think and don't think, don't you?

None of those claims are remotely credible. There simply is no evidence, of any kind, that any sort of god exists, and there is a considerable body of evidence that none does. See:

Sooo... your argument is... so many people claim the merits and truths of the christian god... so the god must be real...

Have you not studied world religions?? History?? Christianity is not special or new... and there are much more followers of other religions... take buddhism for example
