Everybody above is right about where to find new kicks, but you may want to check out the same stores at FUlton St. Mall in Brooklyn. They should have better deals, and its easy to get to from the city. Just take the Q or B train to Dekalb stop and cross Flatbush Ave.
Anyway, if you wanna find some nice new clothes for good prices, check out the store called Daffy's- there are about 8 or 9 stores in the city.

For cheap stores with good quality products, go to 14th Street. For knock off replica goods, Canal Street. For everyday store browsing, Macy's at 34th Street.

Mr Joe's on 8th ave north of 34 st around 36 st , very much a hip hop type of store.

try VIMs, Dr. Jays, Footlocker or Footaction on 34th street Herald Sq.
