Sorry, no insurance, you deserve what you got. Get a cheaper car so you can afford the insurance.

Unless you're a terrible, terrible driver, carrying auto insurance is cheaper than eating meat at each meal. Get the insurance. Go to court. Beg for mercy. Insurance will likely cost you more now because you may have points against your license. Ever thought of what would happen if you cause, or are involved, in an accident that leads to someone's death (other than your own)?

Typically a $500 - $1,000 fine and 3 - 5 points on your license for a first offence.

The judge may also require SR-22 filings for up to 3 years. That means that you'll lose your license until you provide proof of insurance coverage.

And you thought insurance was expensive! As you're about to learn, NOT having insurance is MORE expensive.

If you can't afford insurance, then you can't afford to drive. Sell the car and take the bus.

Getting the insurance now won't help the current situation, as you already have the ticket. the new insurance will have the date on it, and you cannot prove you had it when you got pulled over.

GET INSURANCE for the future. If you have an accident without it, you'll go to jail and get sued! If you kill someone, your life as you know it will be over. You have to give up something you currently spend money on so you can afford insurance! It is the law!

Even if you went to get insurance today, when you go to court they will know that you didn't have it at the time you were pulled over becuase the dates won't match. The punishment is a VERY pricey ticket! Here in Michigan it's $1,000.00 ticket so hopefully your state is cheaper. Good Luck!!

Not unless you have a way to go back in time. If you can't afford it, park the car and take the bus.

You shouldn't be driving if you don't have insurance. Plain and simple. If you get a hefty fine for it, you deserve it.

The law is the law my friend.
You knew the risk when you got behind the wheel, and will suffer the consequences of your own thoughtlessness.
