Well there is no way I'm gonna come on here and give you a name like FiFi when the kitten could be male. Stick with something unisex! Pluto is kind of cute.. a little more boyish but it certainly doesn't imply sunshine. Kind of fitting for a black cat.

Just watch the kitten play for a while.. even up to a week.. or two. a name will just 'come' to you.. as you watch this kitten act like a wierdo or whatever it chooses to act like. At least that's how all my animals have gotten their names. Some have gone 2 to 3 weeks without a name until a suitable name has popped up for them, from their behavior. They just seem to name themselves, and the name just suits their personality. Even had a male cat named Tilly. but it fit him.

You can always choose something and then shorten it. Like my cat is black and I named her Mysti which is short for Mystical.

Good Luck! Let us know what you choose.
