No I don't recall praying for victory but I'm so glad Miami Heat won the basketball championship a year or 2 back. It's all the more exciting to know that Dwayne Wade is a Christian. His #3 represents the trinity...God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

No, but I prayed that the Colts wouldn't win after they disappeared from Baltimore like thieves in the night.
It appears my prayer had a limited length of effectiveness. But that's beside the point.

I'm not Christian, but I am a Cubs fan, so you could easily mistake me as Christian with all of the praying I do.

Nope, I just pray that everyone is safe, and the game goes how it should. Praying for a victory is like trying to make a demand on God.

No. I like the Miami Dolphins, but their winning doesn't take on anywhere near the importance of most other events.

Yup, and I'm a Lions fan. Best argument yet that God doesn't answer prayers.

You can pray for whatever positive thing you want. In fact it helps you give all the glory to God.
