all drinks do contain water. even though some people say fruit juice's don't but fruits do have water in then so when you make fruit juice you get all the liquid from the fruit even the water. very good question though

No, not all drinkable liquids contain water. Olive (and other edible types of) oil do not contain water and they are drinkable, but disgusting. Vinegar is chemically different from H20, so there's another one! I doubt you'd want to drink hydrogen peroxide, but it's not water. I don't know about maple syrup. I'd have to look into that, but assuming since it comes from a tree and trees drink water I'd say syrup probably doesn't fit the bill here. But because earth is 75% water and humans are mostly water and everything that lives on Earth needs water, most of our drinks are water.

I wonder if there's a liquid-sulfer planet out there where life forms can only drink liquid-sulfer to survive... or whatever other liquid

All liquid things have water because it's the base for everything. 100% juice contains water because there is water in the fruit (for an extreme, thng water melon).

If you are wondering for general health reasons, no it's pretty much all bad for you. Sodas, coffee, energy drinks are for obvious reasons. Flavored water, sports drinks, fruit drinks are not the healthiest as far as trying to diet because they hid extra unneeded calories. For example if you eat and orange instead of dring orange juice then you get full off that for longer. Plus most juices contain more than just fruit just (actually look at the ingrediance on the 100% fruit juice stuff). At the same time its better to drink that instead of nothing at all.

There is water in most marketed drinks, but there are liquids that you can drink that have no water. If you have a friend that works at a place with a soda machine the syrup that is used to make soda has little if any water IIRC. That would be quite the sugar rush!

Also 100% juice does have water in it. If you freeze fruit it can ruin it b/c the water turns to ice, expanding, thereby breaking the cell walls (also why cryo research is tough).

Yes all drinks have water. Except that olive oil thing she mentioned, but that's not really a beverage...

You can drink any liquid produced or made or created by man or nature. You can drink them safely.

Just don't drink them all the time, or constantly.
If sugar doesn't kill your pancreas, then Aspartame will kill your liver or whatever it does..

Drink mostly water and treat yourself every once in a while. You're a human capable of making smart choices for yourself.

Good luck!

in italy we drink extra virgin olive oil by itself in a small amount. there isn't any water in oil. it's fat. just a side note that might help understand, deep frying in oil is actually considered a "dry cooking method," as is cooking something in an oven. the reason is that there is no water being used to cook the food. there may be confusion between "liquid" and "water." they don't have to be the same thing. if you want to prove to yourself if a drink has water in it, there is an easy way. put some in a pan and heat it on the stove. when steam comes off of it, that means there is water in it. if you heat oil enough, it will smoke, but it's not steam. i hope this helps.
