Yes I will. Thanks for reminding me.
Funny how somebody up there said a study was done that found out prayer had no power at all. I know of a study too, that said just the opposite.
Over the course of a few years, it showed that a group of sick people who had others praying for them --without their knowledge -- convalesced quicker every time than another group of people who had nobody praying for them.
So much for the "it's all just a matter of the power of mind" theory too.
I believe prayer is very powerful and am thankful when somebody reminds me of that.

Pretty formidable?? then why did a recent study on it show that it actually serves no useful purpose, and in fact found a negative correlation to prayer in open heart surgery patients?
Dont get me wrong - prayer DOES work. Just not how you think. Its the power of the mind that is most formidable...not the prayers.

Yes, God's "WILL" be done!!!.....You my brother are doing what is right and all we, those who feel helpless, can DO TO HELP is get down on our knees and thank GOD that it was not as bad as it could have been! With this said, I pray for healing for the families that did suffer the loss of their loved ones, and those injured and traumatized by this accident........Those who died have not died in vain, .....We don't live in a perfect world and men and women make mistakes...obviously they will learn what mistakes were made by this tragedy and will be better able to stop another bridge from collapsing..... You are a prayer warrior and I STAND WITH YOU!...Earlier I asked pretty much the same question you did, and was reported to yahoo for violating guidelines...There are a lot of people who don't agree in praying, who don't believe in God, and who blame GOD for allowing this to happen...I pray for you, that your eyes will be opened by the "truth" and that you will not spend another minute serving the "dark-side"........

Even if I were a Christian, I wouldn't.
After all, there were only a handful of people killed. Far more people have died gruesome deaths since the I heard about the bridge collapse on the way to work this morning, and no one has said a thing about them just because their death wasn't from a bridge falling down.
I don't think the lives of the unknown dead are worth less than the famous dead people.

The power of prayer is non-existent.
The being that your trying to talk to doesn't exist.
You'd be better off using your time and energy setting up a collection for the families or some other worthwhile activity. But prayer? An utter waste of time.

How about everyone who wants to help send large quantities of cash? You see, the power of bundles of money is also pretty formidable and (wait for it) actually exists! Isn't it exciting! YAY!!

I hope for the best and wish them well, even if it won't help anyone. I don't pray, because nothing fails like prayer.

Power of prayer is pretty imaginary. I'm just going to work on my imaginary motorcycle in their honor.

I am also waiting to hear if my daughter was on the bridge. She is among the missing.
