In person is better........I guess. You should say what you feel about the whole situation. Get everything off your chest and later you will feel better about it after its all said and done. Sit your significant other down and tell them that its not working out and you think its time to go your separate ways with each other. Tell them it would be best for the two of you. Hopefully they will understand........

As long as you didnt do anything bad then do it in person.

If you absolutly cant do it in person because of how you feel then on the phone.

Now if you like cheated or something do it by email. Tell them why but leave out the details.

I dont care what anyone tell you if you ever cheat and try to break up with someone in person and you tell them the reason why right then and there. Its a very good chance you will get your azz knocked out. So break up by email or a letter or text. Then you need to start the avoiding thing so they wont try to start stuff with you in person. I think that everybody can agree that email, phone & text are the easiest ways to break up with some one. But, they are also the worst way to do it. If you want to do it the kindest way I would do it in person. It may be hard while your doing it, but it will make you both feel better in the end.
