I just read around many websites about tourists' comments who visited Hong Kong and most of them have positive comments. However, i dont know why some tourists are not satisfied with Hong Kong because of their short stay and met some unhappy experience. So I hope to hear the members' comments about Hong Kong in your opinion. To me, Hong Kong is one of the best cities in the world with very high tech transportation and efficient government

the one thing I did not like about Hong Kong was the 5 HKD charge in taxis for your bags, but WOW, how could you not be impressed with Hong Kong, it is in the top five in the world! I have been to NYC, San Fran, London, Shanghai Beijing, Tokyo, and others and I LOVE GOING TO Hong Kong

The only thing I don't like about Hong Kong is that, I notice that the use of English their is slowly deteriorating... I mean, I don't have problem of finding my way around because most signs in Hong Kong are in English and Chinese, but what really concerns me is that only few Hong Kongers nowadays know/would speak English. If Hong Kong wants to be "Asia's World City" (the government's slogan), then English should be implemented for use, at least as a second language.

But other than that, I totally love Hong Kong! The skyline... simply one of the best in the world! The food is fantastic, the transportation system is efficient, you can scout all day in shopping malls or in night and flea markets... there's so much happening in Hong Kong! And it's true that I am not satisfied with my Hong Kong visit because my stay of 1 week is not enough! I wish I could've stayed longer...

Hong Kong is the greatest city in the world! In my opinion, it is even better than New York or Los Vegas. Great food, shopping, night life, great jobs with challenge.

It is a very safe and clean place. As for the person above me, spitting doesn't occur much in HK unless you want to get fined $3000 HK! Clean beautiful MTR and KCR system, an advanced bus system with the Tsing Ma bridge, going to downtown from the New Territories is less than 1 hour!

Also, light rail in Yuen Long and Tin Shu Wai, it is a must see place!

I can talk about HK all day long. Any Hong Konger here should be proud of who they are!!!

Hong Kong is a great place.
I think the worse thing bout Hong Kong is the pollution and the smell in the middle of Central.

Hong Kong is fantastic, safe, clean (spitting and throwing garbage not in proper place will cost you HKD5000 cash punishment), a good place to visit and stay.

Just keep yourself out from the busy places like Central.

I am now living in Hong Kong. I would say that the worst thing about Hong Kong is the humid summers and the queues! Such a busy place... people mountain people sea!!!

There's good and bads about HK. But since it's negative comments, ok let me tell you. Some of the sales in stores have really bad attitude toward customers. Which isn't a good thing. In addition, unlike USA, customers had to make a first and final decision toward what they buy or order, because there's no such thing as a refund. (unless it is defective when you got it).

Does your buddy recommend 'depraved' as in 'evil' or does he recommend 'depraved' interior the experience my teenage grandson makes use of the word? If the latter, then he's praising Hong Kong as 'depraved' then potential 'dazzling'

I like Hong Kong too. But the most Gao-cuo thing is stinky and dirty toilets.
