Dear charity,

The "Holy Place" was the external representation of the Kingdom of God was. A Kingdom must have a King and the King is God. In Matthew 15, 16 Jesus is speaking and He was looking on the Temple. But Jesus is God and the majority of Jews did not recognize Him. The King was speaking and hardly any person heard what He spoke.

Today, the external representative of Kingdom of God are the local churches. They are the "Holy Place." Just as in Christ's day, virtually no one is listening to the King. But you may ask, "where is He?" The Bible is the very word of God, of King Jesus. When a person listens to the word of God, it as if one is in the audience of God or King Jesus. Yet no one is "hearing the commands of the King."

That is why the Lord says in verse 16 of Matthew 24, "Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:" God is telling us here that satan is ruling in ALL the local churches and those who are saved are to leave the churches. The "stones" represent the true believers as oppossed to those who are not saved but "look like christians". The mountains is figurative for Christ or God (Psalm 125:2)-"As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever."

If a person is saved, they will be obedient to God (they hear His voice)-and leave the church. Google my sources for more info.

The rebuilt Third Temple of the Jews in Jerusalem.

See Daniel 11:31, Daniel 12:11 and Revelation 13:15.

Also called the temple, it is the observer position from the point of view of the authentic (Christ) Self.

Be wary of the apocalyptic rhetoric of this section of Matthew credited to Jesus. In the "Five Gospels," scholars determined the accuracy of language attributed to Jesus throughout the gospels. Read the Gospel of Thomas for a more metaphysical understanding of his psychological message.

By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; Heb:10:20 Jesus completely died(flesh) and gave us a new and a living way. Standing on the holy ground means:Dying to flesh through the cross. There are no holy grounds now. DM

the "holy place" in matthew 24 is referring to the rebuilt Jewish temple .... the 3rd temple that they are ready now to construct.

you have to understand, even now, they are still living under the Law (from the OT). as the LORD blinded Israel (except for a small minority of Messianic Jews) so that salvation could come to the Gentiles (us). being under the Law, they think they must have a temple for God to dwell in (as in the OT)....

- all the furnishings have been created
- the architectural plans for the 3rd temple are in the making now
- the walls of the temple going to be pre-fabricated off-site so that when they get the go ahead to build on the Temple Mount, they will be able to put it together quickly
- the priests have been taught & are ready to resume animal sacrifices
- the sanhedren has bought a herd of sheep in preparation for animal sacrifices
- the sanhedren announced recently they have acquired a 3-year-old red heifer & she is ready to be the 1st sacrifice for the priests to use in purifying themselves before entering in to the temple.

this temple will be standing 3 1/2 years into the final 7 years before the battle of armageddon (at which time Jesus returns in the clouds of heaven to rapture His Saints).

the antichrist (a political leader from europe) will stand in this temple claiiming that he is God. at that time, the great tribulation will begin & those living in Judea (the west bank settlements) are to fun for their lives to the mountains.
great slaughter will take place for all that will not bow their knee to the antichrist & his world government.

if the peace agreement that olmert & abbas are presently working on is signed & there are no hold ups... we should be entering the final 7 years (daniel's 70th week) before this time next year.

Jesus is coming soon!!

be ready .... make sure you are born again as Peter said ...

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

Close your eyes for a moment or two and meditate ('pray') till you feel Gods presence, no need to go anywhere, the presence of Gods spirit through you will make the place you stand holy.

It means that you personally need to be spiritually strong. Can you stand firm in your faith when you "see the abomination of desolation"? Will you still be faithful when the world around you is so sinful?
