Don't step on any more scales GF. I haven't weighed myself in over ten years.
You are only ten years old -- your body is going through some serious changes right now, don't mess with it. You need food and calories to become a healthy adult.
The best thing for you to do is to eat healthfully (veggies, protein, fruits, whole grains) Try to stay away from junk food (empty calories) and extra sugar (rots your teeth)
Additionally, I would advise you get involved in sports -- soccer, basketball, softball, swimming, etc. Other things to do would be cycling, running, walking, etc.
Focus on living a healthy lifestyle and the rest will follow.

Well my friend had that problem and I told her some tips and now she's sooo fit heres some tips:
1. walk around or jog for 30 minutes out side every day
2. if you have the urge to have sweets make sure to split it in half and give the other to family or friends never eat the whole thing at once
3. go swimming when ever you have the chance
4. do 10 jumping jacks every day and when your ready to do more increase every day by 10 so the next day you might do 20 then 30 then 40 a day.
5. remember eat alot of fruits and veggies and if your having a high fat meal cut it in half but put alot of good foods on the plate
6. when watching the tv a comercial comes on do those jumping jacks!
7. be smart and stay smart!

All those lectures about lifestyle changes are the only long-term way to get it off and keep it off. You are very young and can learn to take care of your body now. A balanced healthy diet with portion control + exercise is the way to go. Also read Dr. Phil's books--go to the library. He not only gives you good ideas on how to successfully diet but on why you overeat in the first place. If you take care of the second, the first will be much easier to pull off. Don't get in a big hurry and if you fall off the wagon in the middle of your diet, you just crawl right back on and continue on. If you are successfully losing weight, and you stop despite the fact you are still dieting, just hang in there. . .your body is adjusting and will kick in again. Just don't give up and then it is a life time change. Good luck!

To a very high degree, you should weigh as much as you feel happy with weighing.
As far as a "healthy weight", that's what most of the other posts are about (calculating your BMI, diet plans, etc).... but most people will say what the "average" is according to different opinions.
As long as you are at a weight where you are healthy, the most important part is that you are HAPPY with your weight... not that you "should be X pounds", but that no matter what you weigh, you are happy with that instead of striving to be a size 2 or something like that
That being said, if you want to lose weight, exercise is a really good (and safe) way to lose weight. In addition to that, I would recommend meeting with a nutritionist or dietitian to see if there is something else that may benefit you more.

NOTE:NOT CRITICIZING YOU:::
what Odisupura and Tory said, don't go to McDonald's, or fast food restaurants LIke everyday , such as Burger king and stuff, just eat a regular day, like Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, NOT
Breakfast_5 snacks, Lunch_3 Snacks_Dinner 3 plates
if u want a secondary item to eat after those three schedules just buy, eat some fruit or vegetables, I'm sure u like stuff like apples and watermelons, so just eat those after those three courses!
But your a Young age you shouldn't worry about that stuff yet.

build muscle. it'll take your extra fat.(fat that didn't get burn)
i don't exactly remember how.
drink lots of water, eat nuts and raisins to increase metabolism
workout.
eat healthy.
eat slowly, because it takes awhile for food to digest, so
it takes awhile to be full after eating.
eating slowly will allow you to know when you're full to eat less.
don't sit in front of the tv while eating.
do aerobic exercises
do 2 30min then have a 20 min break you'll lose more wight than not taking breaks at all
starving will get you skinnier but at the end of it when you eat normally again your body will be saving it,
like bears saving their food for the winter.
depends how committed you are

Part of me realizes that it is wonderful of you to want to be healthier and stay in shape.
The other part of me feels that when 10 year olds are worried about being fat or skinny, perhaps the media brainwashing has gone a bit too far.

To successfully lose weight, you must carry out
a plan to balance your caloric intake with exercise.
Ideally, dieting should be done by eating a nutritionally
balanced, low-calorie diet and increasing physical activity.
