I had a similar problem with my skin. My mom just put tea tree oil on it and it was ok since then.

When I was in high school I had something like that on my hand. The doctors thought it was eczema and gave me topicals as well, but it didn't take it away. I went again, they changed the topical told me to put Vaseline on after the cream and wear a sock to bed!!! but of course that didn't work. they then said i had psoriasis and tried several topicals again. I even got so desperate i tried pouring bleach on it *ouch* (thinking it would kill the microbes) and it didn't work! long story short, they never could say what it was and it was something that i grew out of. occasionally i get very minor breakouts on that hand, but it is otherwise gone! I'm not even sure if you had the same thing I did, but mine was terrible, it caused deep cracks in the creases on my hand- i couldn't even open and close my hands!! if this is similar to what you are experiencing let me know and I'll try to help more. Good Luck!!! I hope you have more success with your condition than i did!!!

Does it itch or anything? It could be an allergic reaction. I had a reaction to an antibiotic last year and my skin was red and white and blotchy all over. I had to get some steroid pills to get rid of it. I looked like a freak. Just go to the doctor, it is no big deal. Go to a walk-in right now, it will make you feel much better, and most likely they will give you something for it.

Allergies, maybe. Uneven skin can be caused by several factors. Perhaps asking a dermatologist about it might help. If you don't know the cause of it, finding a cure is very hard.

Without looking at it it cold be a dozen things. mostly, though I am thinking allergy to something you have eaten or touched.
do you have little raised bumps with white centers?
are they on certain parts of the body only?
these coujldbe hives and many things cause them, even stress
Some doctors are just plain hopless. listen to your mother.

whereever the problem is l;ocate d...i suspect fungus...its curable. long to heal and may return at any time upon reexposure to same dirty contact spot...
any problem health especially is a sign that we ourself have a wrong habit eating up at us its not about being paranoid, its a bout taking charge and responsabilities...learn from mistakes to outgrow teh problem being true to one self..
it is a chance to think it off and over, and take control..., think, analyse your ways of being and .learn as much as you can .about your body biology, health hazards to it, your immune system is like a car with out fuel it wont run....and bodys fuel is food and water, and how to keep your immunity in a dirty environement.is to wash clean and mingle wisely.....,
a clean planet starts with clean people and clean habits, not with bigoterie and fear, doctors are not gods...they just got a licence to .........eventually des- abuse you and stop test medecines...if you so be wiser.
and like your self more...washe your hands never wear cloth twice or unclean, clean your bath tub, change towels daily wash bed sheets often, stop sugar, and fried oils, eat more sensibly more natural veg and fruits,
beware of second-hands clothing and bargain not on your skin health, better a one clean new peace of clothe yours....than a heap of junk full of what ever.....shower thoroughly,
heal thyself......let thy food ( natural) be thy doctor, and thy doctor be thy food ( herbs, aromatherapy...)a word or ....two.... for search leads......
