Here is the Christian belief system in a nutshell. Please read carefully and point out any flaws in the analysis. Note, I am looking for doctrinal flaws, not flaws in the choice of words.
Christians believe that God the Father sent God the Son (and most believe them to be the same being thus making him his own dad) to be born of a virgin. His purpose was to die and rise from the dead to cleanse sin from his followers. Sin came into the world when a woman made from the rib of a man made from the dust of the earth listened to a talking snake and ate some fruit. You can take advantage of the sacrifice and zombification of the Son of God by telepathically accepting him and telling him that every day, taking extra special time to do that on Sunday. If you don't accept him he will send you to hell to burn for all eternity. Oh yeah, and he loves you...

For those who don't know my background, I was once a Christian theologian and am very familiar with most of the Christian sects and how their dogmas vary. I have read the Bible (more than one version) many times as well as the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price. I know more about the Bible than most Christians.

Robert B: You make a solid point about the "faith without works" concept. Many Christian sects believe that the grace of God only works via those willing to make an effort. I am more particularly addressing those sects that say, "accepting Christ is all you need to do."

For those not getting the zombie reference, pay attention to the following definition:
Zombie: a dead body that has been brought back to life by a supernatural force.
How is that not the story of Jesus?

One of the most warped versions that I have ever read but you have it down correctly.
God the Son is a Branch from God the Father. The Father is a Godhead and a Trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Born of a virgin, because the father of a child gives the blood and this blood was Holy since the Father and the Son have the same blood or the Son is the Father and just a Branch of the Father who is Spirit and a consuming fire - great enormous energy. The Son's purpose was death, burial and resurrection from the dead and to take away the sins of the world that the snake Satan deceived Eve into eating from the forbidden tree and Adam ate also therefore bringing the sin into the world. Adam and Eve lost their spiritual connection with God the Father and God the Son and the Holy Spirit. God definitely says to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved. Jesus says that you must be born again. First time you were born by water from your mother's womb and the second time born of the Holy Spirit who teaches you all things so you can be connected back with God. God says man has no excuse not to believe in Him so evidently God put something into man. Hell is just as real as you mentioned and a lake of fire. God created hell for the fallen angels who are directly responsible for the idolatry and false doctrine of this world. Oh yes, God loves you and He sent a portion of Himself the Branch called Jesus Christ to die for you and me.

I'm sorry, but as a Christian who believes EVERY word in the BIble, and the doctrines set out in there, I don't see very much in your description of Christian beliefs in your analysis. Some things are OK, but Jesus is not His own Father. God was not human, but a Spirit. Jesus came to earth to live as a human. Nowhere in my Bible does it say that Jesus became a Zombie. You have set yourself up as one who knows what our belief system is, and you then go on to tell a tale of part truths & mostly sarcasms, simply because you CHOOSE NOT to believe what the Bible says. Exactly what are your qualifications that give you the authority to tell the world what the entire Christian world community believes ? That's what I'd like to know. And by the way, no matter what you think or say, I still love you as I am told to by God.

Flaws! I'll find your mistakes to prove this true.
- He didn't die just for His followers, He died for EVERYONE aka sinners! Everyone.
- They ate some fruit that God had forbidden them to eat, it was a test for them. Therefore, since they disobeyed God, sin came into the world (disobeying God), and has been here ever since.
- Zombification? Nope. We're no zombies.
- It's a choice--God doesn't send us to Hell--it is our CHOICE. If we choose to reject God (He gives everyone an opportunity to come to Him), then we are in a place separated from God (full of sin). God cannot handle sin, and Satan and Hell is where sin dwells. Therefore, the soul goes to Hell.
Yay! Truth! Questions? Contact me.

Most Christians would accept that there are mysteries involved in the faith and you have touched on some. But anything can be made to sound ridiculous if it is taken out of context and subjected to the reductionist approach.
I would be interested to know what tipped the scales for you and led to your becoming an unbeliever.

Athesists do exist. I wonder how you made the jump from "does not believe" to have no choice in the matter. You can believe whatever you want. I could believe there are no chickens, or that unicorns do exist, or that cookies and marshmellows taste like rubber. I could do that and maintain this belief throughout my life, regardless of evidence to the contrary. I would be wrong (obviously) but I could still believe as I wanted to. We see this phenom in kids who believe in Santa even despite evidence to the contrary. So you see, we can choose to believe anyway we want. As you said they come from "our will". However belief is an interpretation, not a reaction, to events around you. You and I both can see the same mountain. You would say that it came here through millions of years of erosion and dust and such. I would simply say that God created it. Both looking at the same evidence, both coming to a different conclusion. While your logic seems to make sense, your basis of "God sending people to hell" is inaccurate. God doesn't send anyone to hell. We are the ones who condemn ourselves to hell. Mark 3:29 "but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin.” This blasphemy is against what the Holy Spirit teaches...which is Jesus Christ died for your sins and is Lord...and if you deny this fact you are guilty of an eternal sin. You are the one who makes the choice not to believe Him. You choose to be accountable for your own sins and not accept His grace and forgiveness. You said that our God is "just and fair" which is completely accurate. He is just and fair because He punishes sin, and rightfully so. He is also completely love because He sent His son Jesus to atone for your sin. His sacrifice is a free gift. However, a gift is only good when it is opened and accepted. The gift was given and is in your hands but if you never open it, it will do you no good come Judgement day.

Plenty of flawed thinking, but if you haven't been exposed to true Christian doctrine, that is forgivable.
Jesus, who is God, and part of the triune God, came to earth to live the perfect life, only possible if He were not born of a man's seed, since the sin nature is passed by the man, died and rose again. His work on the cross satisfied the judgment and penalty for sin which His people would have faced. He died for His people, the believers. His work redeemed and justified His people before the Father, who now no longer sees our sins, but He sees us in Christ. All believers are elect, chosen before the foundation of the earth, their names written in the lambs book of life. It is not based on anything we do, but totally of God. God chooses, God elects, God selects. Man, in his flesh nature, is on the road to eternal judgment. God, out of grace, love and mercy, chooses out some for salvation. We have nothing to do with it. The event in the Garden revealed man's inclination towards rebellion. God left them to "choose" whom they would believe, and they, in their flesh, chose the bad. Of course, God knew they would choose that, hence the provision was already in place before the world was created for the forgiveness of sin and the redemption of those whom He chooses out.

You have several flaws in your description.....I will address only one (because of limits of this forum).
Acceptance of the sacrifice of Jesus means more than taking time on Sunday to tell Him he is special. It is a change in the values and principles that you live by every day. Acceptance by faith. You must conform yourself to His example. And Yes.....He does love you. I love my children, yet they can expect punishment for disobedience.

That's pretty good, I can't find a single flaw. You may just add one sentence though = "Even in your ignorance and unbelief, He still loves you and believes in you, and He will never give up on you!"
