Keep trying to talk to her but dont seem desperate or pushy.. There is nothing more annoying than when a guy bothers you for weeks upon weeks.. and just tell her u want to be friends and u think she seems cool and u want to get to know her a little better..

You're both young and having trouble, so don't be hard on yourself. Keep plugging away with the questions and chat. Don't ask questions that can be answered by yes or no. Offer to get her a drink. Ask her is she wants to go sit together and talk. Maybe you can ask her to go for a walk during the party so you can have time together. Ask about school, family, music, what she likes to do, does she have a job for the summer, etc.

She probabely likes you and is shy. Just ask her out she'll be flattered but dont have your friends ask her out for you. Girls hate that.

do your best to make her laugh. do something silly or stupid to show her that your a normal kid like her and maybe that will relax her enough to talk.
