LOL..I thought I had the poofiest hair on the planet!
I am guessing it is natural curly or wavy? There is many things you can do to help this depending on what style you are looking for.
If you have curly and want pretty curls, after you wash and condition it, spray or put some leave in conditioner, then spray some decent hold hairspray on it while wet and let it dry natural. Or put a generous amount of Humectress on it, it will weigh it down to not be "poofy"
If you want straight hair, blow it straight and use a smoothing cream on it. Matrix makes one, and there is plenty of others. But I like the sleek look products for this. Make sure your hair is DRY, the mistake people make when blowing out hair, is not getting all the moisture out of it, so it retracts and the end result is frizz. But make sure you polish it off with an anti-humidity spray to repell moisture.
And also when your hair is wet, and I know this works, is spray some club soda on it then dry. I have some frizzalicious hair and have done that in desperate times.
The last thing is, please be careful NOT to get too deep of layers in it, weight is your friend with frizz so is proper conditioning.
I hope I helped.

I have naturally curly hair that gets the frizzies if I don't use The Conditioner by Paul Mitchell. It is sold in the hair salon that is inside Wal*mart.
I have used it for many years & it works great for me.
You would wash your hair, use regular conditioner, rinse out reg. conditioner, towel dry your hair, put Paul Mitchell's The Conditioner on your hair & comb or brush it. Set with rollers or let dry naturally. I use a curling iron to straighten out the parts the are too curly.
Good luck!

I have the same problem! Try buying Sunsilk de-frizz shampoo and conditioner. Also buy the 24/7 Leave in Creme. It worked for me! Another way to beat the frizz is to deep condition your hair.

Nourish your hair with daily conditioner and weekly hair masks. You can also use vaseline to tame your flyaways by applying the vaseline to the tips of your hair.
