I'm going to answer this as if you did not have a job, but wanted to know what to request when/if you get a job offer.
Ask for 5 sick days and 5 personal days as well. If the recruiter looks annoyed, say, "That's negotiable."

A lot of company's consider sick days to be personal days. I wouldn't push your luck and ask for more since they're both pretty much the same

those days are to be used while sick. you should not take them as personal days.
you cannot plan when to get sick, so do not plan when to used those days.
